Smokey’s Natural Wine Shop was created as a relaxed, coastal gathering spot in Lennox Head, Australia, focused on sharing good wine and building a strong community.

Brand Concept
The brand uses warm vintage-style script with bright reds and blues to create a welcoming and casual feel. Hand-drawn illustrations add friendliness, reflecting the joy of sharing a bottle with friends.

Smokey’s needed to stand out from typical bottleshops that often feel cold or intimidating. The brand had to welcome both casual wine drinkers and enthusiasts while showing quality and trust.

The main challenge was combining a cozy vibe with expert knowledge in a market where natural wine is seen as exclusive. The identity also needed to feel inclusive while capturing Lennox Head’s unique coastal spirit.
